Vendakkai Pachadi/Fried Ladies finger Pachadi/Okra Pachadi/Easy Okra Pachadi


Ingredients:- 
Okra/Ladies finger/ Vendakka – 10-20 nos,
Yogurt/curd-1 cup
Mustard seed-1/2 tsp
Salt
Oil
Dried red chilli-2 nos, splitted

 Directions:-
·         Wash and pat dry okra.Cut into thin rounds and shallo fry  until brown in color.Drain excess oil and keep it aside.

·         Add the fried okra,salt into the thick yogurt and mixwell.

·         Seasoning with the mustard seed and curry leaves.


Have with rice and dal curry

  2. I do not have many recipes using okra and the hubby likes to coat and deep fry them. Glad to find something a little bit healthier than that! Toasting and mixing in with yogurt sounds tasty. Definitely worth a try!
