Boiled rice/Matta rice (puzhungalari) - 1 cup
Jaggery(Vellam) - 1 cup
Grated Coconut - 1 cup
Cardamom Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Heat a kadai or a pan ,roast the rice in a medium heat until the rice starts pop and change its color.Reduce heat ,roast until full batch of rice become uniform color,carefull dont burnt the rice.Switch off heat and let it cool.
- Grind the roasted rice into a fine powder and transfer it to a bowl.
- Add jaggery powder and grated coconut to the above rice powder and mix it well.
- Then make small balls out of the above mixture.
- Ariyunda is ready.
