Tender Jackfruit Thoran/Idichakka Thoran/Canned Tender Jackfruit Thoran

 Ingredients:-

Tender jackfruit- 1 can(I used canned jack fruit)
Coconut grated-1/2 cup
Garlic, crushed-6 pods big (I like the garlic taste more)
Mustard seed-1/2 tsp
Urad dhal-1 tsp
Dried red chilli – 2 nos;
Curry leaves-1 strand
Oil
Salt
Water

Directions:-
·         Drain the water, rinse it in to cold water, Use grinder and pulse 2-4 time to make a fine pieces. Or chopped into fine pieces.
·         Take a pan add the shredded jack fruit into it along with turmeric and salt, add little water
·         Cover the pan and cook it about 10-15 minutes. Stir occasionally.
·         When it is done. Add grated coconut and cook for further 5 minutes
·         Heat oil in a pan, splutter mustard seed, add urad dhal.When it start to brown in color add dried red chilli and curry leaves and crushed garlic, sauté till garlic become brown in color.
·         Pour this into the cooked jackfruit and mix well.
·         Serve with rice….
